Florist and Event Designer Websites

It seems that if your are a florist these days, you are ultimately, at least in part, also an event designer.

Several of our clients are florists and/or event designers and therefore require a web presence that is both unique and shows off their individual tastes and talents. And one phrase has ultimately crept into the conversation with almost everyone of my designer clients as we discussed the look of their page: “the wow factor”.

As I have now looked through many portfolios of florists and wedding designers, I have come to the conclusion that there is a connection between people who create beautiful surroundings with arranged flowers and athletes: The differences in world class athletes are measured in fractions of a second and similarly, the best floral designers seem to separate themselves from the others in the details. The small things are what make them different. Not that one is better than the other, just different.

So our job at Rocket 88 Web has been to find that small difference and exploit it in the design of a web site, with “wow factor” that will separate one designer from another. Here are a few of our designs.
